We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant with 5 years of experience to join our team in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commerce, excellent analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail to manage and enhance our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights for financial planning.

Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and collections.

General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including preparation and submission of tax returns and coordination with external auditors.

Inventory Control: Manage and reconcile inventory accounts, ensuring accurate tracking, valuation, and reporting of stock.

Cost Accounting: Conduct cost accounting and analysis to support pricing strategies and operational efficiency.

Internal Controls: Develop and implement effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing recommendations to management.

Audit Support: Coordinate and support internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and reports.
