A leading law firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate with 1-2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) and a Company Secretary (CS) qualification. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advising clients on capital markets transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in capital markets transactions, including IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, and debt offerings.
- Conduct due diligence, draft offer documents, and prepare regulatory filings with SEBI and stock exchanges.
- Ensure compliance with securities laws, SEBI regulations, and listing obligations.
- Review and negotiate transaction documents, including underwriting and shareholder agreements.
- Coordinate with regulators, investment bankers, and legal teams to facilitate smooth transactions.
Key Requirements:
- 1-2 years of PQE in capital markets law at a reputed law firm or corporate legal team.
- Company Secretary (CS) qualification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, listing requirements, and corporate governance norms.
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
