JOB TITLE: BUSINESS HEAD (Sales Aftermarket)
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: SALES & MARKETING
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 10 - 12 Years of relevant experience in Automotive Spare parts (After Market)
REQUIRED SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES (required to perform the job effectively): Business Financials, Good communication and negotiation skills, Problem solving skills, Analytical Skills, Team Management, Strong Digital & computer skillset.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To develop and implement effective sales strategies that will drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process driven, methodical and a good communicator who has a good knowledge of excel and various other digital tools which help in improving the productivity .
- Should regularly conduct innovative , impactful yet cost effective demand generation activities which promotes oem and increases the consumption of parts and lubricants .
- Simplicity and clarity of communication with team and customers is always needed for desired business results .
- Should be well versed with terms working capital , ROI , Gross margin , inventory turns , channel financing , reeivables ageing etc .
- To attend and participate in all the training , learning and competitive programs organised by principal.A person who manages his/her personal and household expenses well can effectively manage and control the running cost of business also . A business head is expected to keep a check on any unwanted costs and waste .
- A business head need to regularly visit the market to meet customers , prospects and mechanics . He should gather the market intelligence and provide his feedback to seniors and oem representatives on a regular basis .
- Needs to closely monitor the customerwise monthly offtake of partlines , nurturing of new customers , understanding and performance of schemes and loyalty programs .
- A Buisness unit head is responsible for people growth , growth in network , revenue and profits every year . The sales targets set by the OEM is target of Bh and his team .
- The key focus areas of distribution business is meeting daily , weekly and monthly sales targets , daily and monthly billed customer target , high efficient receiveables management , earning cash discount , earning the incentives and other discounts offered by OEM , inventory management , >90% FFR and supplies within shortest possible time .
- Buisness Unit head is also responsible for gross margin ( operating profit ) which can be improved by a healthy mix of customers , products and regular data analysis along with the help of finance team / CFO .
Desired profile of the candidate :
- Responsible for client acquisition and new business for the specific domain. Your role encompasses the following: -
- Achieving targets and KPI’s as set by the business vertical head.
- Responsible for acquisition of new clients and continuous development of the product offering to existing clients.
- Monitoring company performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively - Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients.
- BD role reporting into the Vertical Lead.
Relevant Industry: Digital Payments/ Banking / Insurance / eCommerce
Profile/Skills Desired:
- Relevant experience in the digital payments sector.
- Exposure to Insurance/ Banking/ Payment preferable.
- Demonstrated competence with client management.
- Have managed large accounts.
- Proven ability to build relationships with key external and internal stakeholders and business leaders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with partners.
- Strong communication skills and technical aptitude.
- Strong Educational Background; should possess an MBA (or equivalent post graduate certification) from a reputed university or similar professional qualifications.
