About Our Client:
Our client is a leading player in the mechanical engineering and fasteners manufacturing industry, renowned for its innovative solutions and commitment to quality. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team and drive their continued growth and success.
Role Overview:
The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our client's company. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, risk management, and investor relations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving financial performance, managing complex financial transactions, and leading teams towards successful IPOs within a manufacturing context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with our client's overall business objectives.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and risk management activities.
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, evaluating financial implications and strategic fit.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 15 years of experience in senior finance roles within a manufacturing company.
- Proven track record of successfully taking a manufacturing business through an IPO process.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, financial modeling, and valuation techniques within a manufacturing context.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with industry-specific financial metrics and regulations in the mechanical engineering or fasteners manufacturing industry.
- Experience with international financial operations and reporting within a manufacturing context.
