Customer Service Representative
Role description:
The Customer Service Representative manages the quality and progress of the transport order, by having intensive collaboration with their colleagues from the Transport Departments and off course with its international customers.
You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio, ranging from specific customers in the areas of e.g. petrochemical, food industry, automotive, fast moving customer goods (FMCG) and industrial areas.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full transport order process from entry through to delivery, proactively monitoring each stage to ensure timely and accurate completion;
- Intervene and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring seamless order progression;
- Proactively inform customers on the progress and status of their orders, addressing any potential deviations and taking corrective action as necessary;
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers from Germany, Holland and Belgium through effective communication and excellent English language skills;
- Work closely with the Transport Departments to align on order requirements and operational needs.
Ideal candidate:
- Bachelor degree;
- English fluently;
- Relevant experience in a similar role;
- Have strong communication skills;
- Have a proactive and accurate attitude;
- Set priorities easily;
- Ambitious and eager to develop yourself professionally.
