Role Summary:
As the Senior Delivery Head, you will lead AI, machine learning, and robotics projects transforming manufacturing operations. You will set the strategic direction for delivery, optimize processes, and manage a multidisciplinary team to ensure project success in a complex industrial environment. Your role will involve a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and operational excellence to deliver AI-powered solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision:
- Define and Drive Delivery Strategy: Create a long-term strategy to automate manufacturing with AI and communicate the roadmap for project excellence.
- Align with Business Objectives: Ensure project delivery aligns with company goals, maximizing value for clients and the business.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the company in industry forums, ensuring the company is viewed as a leader in AI-powered manufacturing automation.
2. End-to-End Project Management:
- Comprehensive Project Oversight: Lead projects from planning to execution and post-delivery support, ensuring effective governance.
- Resource Allocation: Balance resource capacity with project demand, overseeing recruitment for scaling project delivery.
- Risk Management: Proactively manage risks and resolve issues to maintain timelines and client satisfaction.
3. Quality Assurance and System Integration:
- Excellence in QA: Ensure robust QA for both software and hardware, maintaining industry-leading standards in validation and testing.
- Integration Leadership: Lead the integration of AI, robotics, and edge devices, ensuring seamless operation across subsystems.
- Industry Standards & Compliance: Ensure projects meet industry standards, regulations, and client trust.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and Nurture a High-Performing Team: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Mentorship and Talent Development: Guide emerging leaders, and develop professional skills and technical expertise within the team.
- Performance Management: Set clear objectives, conduct reviews, and align team performance with company goals.
5. Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and trust.
- Customized Solutions for Client Success: Work with clients to tailor AI and robotics solutions to their specific manufacturing needs.
- Continuous Improvement Based on Feedback: Establish mechanisms to gather client feedback and drive solution enhancements.
6. Process Optimization & Innovation:
- Optimize Delivery Processes: Refine processes for increased efficiency, using lean and agile methodologies to enhance responsiveness.
- Innovate with Advanced Technologies: Stay ahead by leveraging AI-driven tools, real-time analytics, and automation for operational efficiency.
- Champion Agile Transformation: Lead the adoption of agile practices tailored to the dynamic demands of AI and robotics projects.
7. Financial Management & Operational Accountability:
- Budget Oversight: Oversee budget allocations and optimize resource use to ensure financial efficiency.
- KPIs: Define and measure performance metrics across project delivery, client satisfaction, and team productivity.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance to meet project specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 15+ years in AI, robotics, or industrial automation, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of AI, robotics, machine learning, system integration, and risk management.

- Leadership: Experience in managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Proven success in industrial automation or manufacturing AI and robotics applications.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Six Sigma, or Lean certifications preferred.
- Agile & DevOps Expertise: Familiarity with agile and DevOps practices to enhance project delivery in AI and robotics projects.
Technical Skills:
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages.
- AI & ML: Expertise in machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Robotics: Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS.
- Big Data Technologies: Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- IoT & Edge Computing: Knowledge of IoT protocols and edge computing.
