They are looking for a PCB design engineer to join their team and develop new technologies.
Responsibilities
-
You are responsible for the production-ready realization of the circuit board, from the layout via SAP-compliant production data record to the tested circuit board in goods receipt.

You support production teams on technology issues regarding circuit boards, assembly and stencils.

You will design the structure and define solutions in PCB and connection technology, which you will implement in complex rigid-flex circuit boards in collaboration with development, design and production.

You are the contact person for material selection and layer stack up of PCBs.

You verify the requirements of the printed circuit board design regarding impedance and signal propagation times using a customized EM simulation.

They support circuit developers across departments and locations with technology questions regarding manufacturing and PCB technologies.
Requirements
-
You hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or related field.

You have min 5 years’ experience in PCB design and circuit board simulation.

The layout and material selection for 16-layers rigid-flex-rigid circuit boards represents a manageable challenge for you.

Good knowledge of IPC standards.

Experience with Mentor Xpedition is a strong plus.

Furthermore, you have relevant experience in PCB design, have knowledge of and would like to expand your skills.

Your team spirit and strong analytical mindset allow you to quickly coordinate and solve interdisciplinary problems.

You are proficient in English (C1) and German (C1).
