Job Description

Our Client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team at Bangalore. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with software engineers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to streamline deployment pipelines, improve system reliability, and ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software release process.
2. Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
3. Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
4. Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.
5. Security: Implement security best practices and ensure that systems are secure and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
6. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.

Good to Have Skills

1. Full stack software development experience using technology stack comprising React, ReactNative, Node.js, Java or Python.
2. Exposure to MLOps frameworks and tools.
3. Hands on experience in Microsoft Azure

Requirements

1. Minimum 4 years of experience in software development and delivery
2. At least 2 years of proven experience as DevOps Engineer.

Technical Skills

1. Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github, Git actions.
2. Good understanding of any one of the leading cloud hosting providers (Microsoft Azure preferred) with focus on cost optimisation and security compliance. 
3. Proficiency in any one of the scripting languages like Bash / Python to automate tasks and streamline workflows.
4. Strong understanding of networking, security, and systems administration.
5. Good understanding of containerisation/orchestration technologies like Docker / Kubernetes.
6. Experience in implementing monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK and Nagios.
7. Experience in infrastructure management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet and Chef ensuring automation, consistency and reproducibility of environments.
8. Good understanding of Cloud Security practices and compliance standards.
