A geat opportunity to join as a Director of F&B at a luxury 5 star Resort in Tuscany
Main duties and responsibilities
- Ensure that all guests who use the catering services are fully satisfied, interacting with them to manage special requests and carrying out corrective and improvement actions in case of reports
- Be responsible for the organization and constant control of the F&B division, the management of all resources, company assets and equipment supplied
- Ensure that the service standards and procedures of your entire department are applied
- Manage and constantly relate to its outlet managers through whom it supervises the efficiency of the departments
- Supervise and approve the rotation of F&B department staff
- Select senior staff in your division and perform performance evaluations of your direct reports
- Manage cost control for your division and work to incorporate best practices that monitor waste
- Support the Management in drawing up the budget forecast for its division and monitor its progress
- Lead and support all Food & Beverage departments in achieving their financial and operational objectives
- In coordination with the Purchasing who provides for the purchase of the department's equipment and allowances, it relates to external suppliers with particular attention to wines and catering equipment
- Manage and supervise inventories and warehouse withdrawals relating to the material of his department
- Approves the menus proposed by the Executive Chef for all outlets and special events
- Helps develop wine lists and wine sales promotion programs
- Ensures the correct application of health and safety standards
Requirements
- No less than 5 years of experience in a role in 5-star luxury and/or chain hotels in Italy and abroad, and/or in fine dining restaurants
- Excellent knowledge of the English language. Further linguistic knowledge will be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of contemporary culinary, wine and beverage trends
- Excellent organizational, communication, reliability and leadership skills
- Distinct analytical, budgeting and problem solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package
