Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain discipline required
• Proven experience in Supply Chain Management and Logistics
• 7 + years management experience in a high-performance manufacturing facility or supply planning
• Knowledge of all aspects of Supply Chain, including planning, forecasting, inventory, warehousing and transportation
• Proven track record in delivery of complex, cross-functional supply chain and procurement initiatives on time and on budget

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.
2. Develop, monitor, and analyze supply chain effectiveness metrics to identify areas of improvement, and report regularly on supply chain performance.
3. Design and implement new processes and procedures to continuously develop/enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
4. Lead a diverse team of manufacturing professionals across different companies, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
5. Lead the selection and management of suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers.
6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors.
7. Evaluate and propose strategic decisions regarding in-house manufacturing versus outsourcing.Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
8. Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times and improve product availability.
9. Monitor the performance of suppliers and vendors and take corrective action when necessary.
