Hiring for an Account Manager – APAC for a leading global enterprise IT solutions and digital transformation services provider.

Role details:
- Title / Designation: Account Manager
- Reporting Manager: EVP – Sales
- Location: Malaysia / Philippines / Thailand / Indonesia / Cambodia / Vietnam
- Work Mode: Hybrid if Malaysia (rest all locations – remote)
Role & responsibilities:
- Build full Account Plans for downstream oil and gas accounts in APAC, focusing on Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia and Vietnam.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Pre-sales, Software, Operations, and Services) to craft and deliver tailored solutions.
- Mature and formalize account relationship expectations and address all products and solutions specifications with a growth strategy for each that maximizes “customer share” across all assigned countries.
- Attain targeted sales goals and performance through the effective account management.
- Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.) to track leads, pipeline, and deal closures.
- Drive new business opportunities while managing key client relationships.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build market awareness.
Candidate requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in account management and/or software sales preferably in Oil & Gas in the APAC region.
- Experience selling automation, fleet management, POS, payment, or logistics solutions to the industry.
- Strong understanding of the APAC markets, with established relationships in Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
- Advanced English proficiency. Fluency in Tagalog, Malay, or Thai is a plus.
- Proven track record of closing high-value enterprise deals.
- Strong account planning, negotiation, and presentation skills.
