Job Description
Our Client is a global leader in Agriculture.
For their growing operations in Greece, they are looking for an 'Engineering Manager (Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance)' for their plant in Oinofyta.
The role reports to the 'Plant Manager,' is a member of the Management Team, and manages a team of Engineers.
Your Responsibilities:
- To plan the predictive and preventative maintenance and availability of filling equipment to meet the weekly production requirements in line with demands
- To provide resources for corrective maintenance/repair
- Assist with Electrical and Engineering Safety Audits
- To train operators in the safe and correct use of plant and equipment, ensuring their awareness to the chemical hazards of the products
- To monitor and suggest improvements/modifications to plant and to operational methods.
- To update operators' training records and equipment maintenance records
- Responsible for the operating efficiency of the filling equipment
- Maintain plant, equipment, and site facilities in a safe and fit state
- Ensure an adequate supply of machine spare parts is maintained
- Install and commission new plants and machinery on-site
- Ensure the availability and proper use of safety equipment and clothing.
- Head the factory firefighting team, responsible for the safe operation of the Site emergency power supply generator
- Issuing Authority for Contractors Work Permits on Site
- Leader and responsible for following without any deviation the ISO Standards Quality 9001:2015, Environmental (extended for Energy) 14001:2015, Health &Safety 45001:2018 and ISO 50001 Energy management.
- Responsible to organize maintenance and control of the Safety Critical Equipment of the Site
- Responsible to keep all the SOP update and to review them in yearly base.
Your Profile:
- A strong academic background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required
- 8-10 years of relevant experience and at least 3-4 in a People Management role
- Leadership qualities in terms of presence, presentation, and appreciation as well as an ability to utilize motivating factors in dealing with subordinates. The job holder will recommend manning requirements for his/her department and decide upon the allocation of resources within budget to meet functional requirements. Identifies training needs for those staff reporting to him
- Very strong English skills
