Responsibilities

● Your ability to establish relationships with clients and be seen as a trusted advisor on Climate &

Sustainability matters in the market in the areas of sustainability reporting, risk management, governance

and internal control

● Working closely with clients and engagement teams to assist them in adapting to a wide range of ESG

frameworks and schemes

● Staying connected across the global Company’s network on emerging ESG trends across the globe with relevance

to our clients in each market

● Experience with GHG Protocol and/or ISO 14064 / ISO 14067

● Your ability to accurately calculate corporate carbon footprints

● Experience with identifying sustainability and climate risks and opportunities

● Managing and developing teams to successfully deliver client engagements

● Strengthen the firm by providing technical and thought leadership in your areas of strength e.g. ESG,

decarbonisation, climate change etc

● Assisting in business development and pitching assignments to engage potential clients

Essential skills & experience

● At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably from a Sustainability and/or Climate Change background

with relevant project experiences in GHG/Carbon Footprinting/Life Cycle Analysis a plus

● Demonstrated experience in one of decarbonisation, transition, resilience, or a related climate change

subject matter, such as knowledge of the key frameworks in one or more of those areas (e.g. ISO 14064,

GHG Protocol, TCFD, SBTi, etc)

● Highly evolved analytical skills

● Data management and visualization skills

● Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, particularly when communicating on an

engagement to a wide range of stakeholders from senior management to project managers

● A graduate degree in environmental sciences, environmental economics, and/or equivalent

● Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively

● Fluency in English and Russian (both oral and written), Fluent German and Kazakh languages are a plus
