A great opportunity to join as a Event Operations Manager at a Luxury 5 star hotel in Brussels
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee all Banqueting operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
· Optimize profitability through efficient resource management and waste control.
· Build and maintain a high-performing, skilled team.
· Manage staffing, duty rosters, and delegate tasks, ensuring coverage for absences.
· Attend BEO meetings, providing operational advice as needed.
· Ensure effective communication within the department and with the F&B Director.
· Report issues and complaints to the F&B Director.
· Ensure high-level training and compulsory hotel training attendance for staff.
· Conduct pre-service briefings for large events, ensuring BEO compliance.
· Deliver events to the highest standard, liaising with on-site organizers.
· Hold post-service debriefings with the team.
· Collaborate with other departments for seamless operations.
· Familiarize with the Corinthia Employee Handbook.
TALENT PROFILE
Experience
A minimum of 3 years in a 4 -5 star venue and experience in Banqueting.
Skills & Knowledge
· Knowledge of the Banqueting Department and be able to advice clients, if required with regards to setups & event product knowledge.
· Good Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
· Knowledge of Micros system & Audio-visual equipment
· Ability to multitask.Fluent in French, English & Dutch
Requirements
Ability to work varying shifts including weekends, nights and bank holidays
