Our client owns and manages one of the largest and most critical infrastructures in Greece.
For their exponentially growing operations, they are looking for a ‘Facilities Manager/Electrical Engineer’, who will be supporting in- & outsourced preventive & corrective maintenance for electrical infrastructure and operational machinery (Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Battery systems, Lighting, GenSet, Field equipment).
Your Responsibilities:
• Managing a contracted external specialized service provider and supervising an in-house team which consists of 12 staff (4 Senior Technicians, and 8 Technicians of various specialties operating on 5 shifts pattern).
• Sets the maintenance requirements, optimizing direct cost vs impact vs quality, in line with the operational restrictions, equipment criticality, seasonal utilization factor, and manufacturers’ recommendations. Supports preparation and update of maintenance contract scope’s technical requirements and supports the tender process.
• Plans & daily monitors (administratively and physically when required) the performance of all maintenance activities concerning the set corporate targets for systems availabilities, and organizes availability of resources (materials & manpower) for normal operations and contingencies. Designs and implements the auditing process of contractor's activities according to performance measurement schemes.
• Performs daily contract administration (technical & financial) of all related outsourced activities, checks & validates outsourced services’ charges & quality, related to the set performance indicators & corporate procedures.
• Supports with preparing the annual Budget & continuously monitors/controls all Cost Centres on Electrical maintenance.
• Secures spare parts availability, by setting and overseeing the related mechanism.
• Supports with the Electrical Systems’ Asset Replacement Plan. Initiates & supports the implementation of projects relevant to major replacements and upgrades.
• Supports the development of staff through related training plans and monitors compliance with applied personnel safety measures per corporate H&S directives.
Your Profile:
• University Degree in Electrical Engineering. Member of Greek Technical Chamber (TEE).
• 11-16 years of previous professional experience in facility management, including maintenance of high-tech electrical and control systems of large-scale installations under 24h/7d operation.
• Good knowledge, clear understanding, and familiarity with Power Systems.
• Impeccable English skills.
• Experience on design & implementation of hybrid (in- & outsourced) maintenance regime in line with performance KPIs.
• Practised first-line, direct engineering & people management (e.g. industrial engineer, large-scale facilities’ field services engineer).
• Agile/Versatile when interacting and/or managing people of diverse educational/professional backgrounds, and securing teamwork spirit & effective utilization of human resources.
• Skilful and experienced in accurate, well-structured, and consistent technical and financial reporting.
