Client Background
Our client is a globally recognised leader in speciality chemicals, focusing on the development, production and distribution of high-performance solutions such as varnishes, inks, adhesives and sealants, covering markets such as the packaging industry, medical applications etc… It has production facilities worldwide, in Europe, North and South America, and in China.
To support their sales organisation, they are looking for an Field Sales Representative for the European Market.
Responsibilities
Exciting challenges await you! In this position, you will play a key role in supporting and advising our customers in the Industrial Applications business line. With a focus on the adhesives industry and the European market, you will actively shape our success.
Your tasks will include:

Proactive commercial and technical advice to our existing customers.

Identification of new markets, acquisition of new customers and development of innovative areas of application.

Recognizing market trends (technical and commercial) and conducting market and competitor analyses.

Support in the development of new services through internal projects.

Implementation of sales and marketing strategies in concrete sales activities.
Requirements
This is how you convince us:
-
Completed training as a chemical technician or degree in chemical engineering, ideally with experience in coating or formulation development, preferably in adhesives or specialty chemicals.

Ideally in the specialty chemicals sector.

Confident in using MS Office; knowledge of SAP (HANA) and Salesforce is an advantage.

Existing contacts in the adhesives industry are a plus.
-
Excellent German and business-fluent English skills.
-
Class B driving licence, high willingness to travel (60–70%, mostly in Germany, partly throughout Europe).

Independent, flexible, and with a multicultural understanding.
-
Fluent in English and German.
