Responsbilities:
- Building strong customer relationship by working closely with them (all major steel plants in North America) by responding to their needs and concerns for service, repairs and spare parts of Industrial furnaces.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers on company products & services and provide necessary support through technical and administrative activities.
- Responsible to develop scope of work, man-hours, cost estimates, time schedules and final quote for service, spares, any retrofit jobs along with new opportunities for furnaces and related equipment.
- Ability to perform service, fine tuning, on site repairs on equipment for Reheat, Annealing, Heat treatment furnaces, Annealing furnaces, etc.
- Preparing and submitting service reports.
- Collecting information on annual budgets from customers to assist for sales forecast.
- Adopting standard company procedures and rules while responding to tender requirement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in a field service management of Industrial Furnaces and its equipment (Reheating furnace, Continuous Annealing Furnaces, Batch furnaces, Burners, Heat exchangers, fan, etc.).
- Established connections with customers and knowledge of NFPA 86 safety code could be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence, convince and persuade.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Global mindset and sensitive to local culture.
- Willing to travel up to 50% to customer sites and vendor workshops.
