Looking for an experience candidate into Field service vertical for one of the Heavy machines manufacturing company.
Min Exp : 3+ years ( handling products : Conveyors , Cranes , Hydruallic systems , Excavators etc)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive technical support for ‘in service’ company owned and other OEM machines.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with fellow Technical Services, Sales and team members within other business functions.
- Gain a comprehensive commercial understanding of the company’s strategy and route to market and customer base. Through this awareness identify and support commercial opportunities within the Technical Services team.
- Perform mandatory inspections/ maintenance on all AWP machinery to local standards.
- Where appropriate undertake Thorough Examination and certification under the LOLER regulations.
- Service, Repair, Calibration and software updates of machines at customer locations / sites or company’s facilities as required to ensure conformance with manufacturers specifications and company policy.
- Carry out assessments/inspections and report findings (including BOM, estimated Labour and plan of action) on AWP machinery.
- Interact with fellow team members to ensure accurate and timely sharing of information both technical and commercial.
- Notify appropriate team member of any defective or unsafe equipment.
- Inspect and test wiring and circuitry and replace faulty parts
- Clean parts and equipment using chemical solutions, apply finishes and surface coatings to products, using chemicals or by spray painting
- Carry out basic quality checks and support the quality programme though closed loop reporting
- Accurate and timely completion of all relevant reports and documentation in support of standard operating procedures.
Main Tasks:
- Work flexibly to perform any other tasks required by company’s AWP that are within the employee’s skills and abilities pursuant to the position.
- Ensure compliance with company’s AWP processes and procedures and remain compliant with all local laws and requirements.
- Deliver exceptional levels of customer service embracing the Service Excellence philosophy across all of our customers and take a natural lead in progressing this within the business
- Liaise and interact with customers and suppliers; as a company’s AWP representative always providing a high standard of customer care.
- Occasional requirement to undertake other duties, including workshop or tasks associated with the level of role and responsibility.
- The position will require the job holder to be home based, you are required to have a flexible approach and will be expected to spend time away from your home base when necessary. The position will also contain an element of cross border travel (possibly at short notice).
