Position: Financial Accountant
The Financial Accountant manages the financial operations for a series of international clients, medium and small companies, making sure that all accounting practices follow the rules and regulations of the Romanian legislation. With a keen eye for details and analytical thinking, the Financial Accountant keeps the general ledger accurate and up-to-date.
Location: Cluj-Napoca
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients from various industries (services, production, real estate, etc.);
- Accurately record and process primary accounting documents received from clients;
- Verify the accuracy of entries made by yourself and colleagues;
- Ensure proper correlations between accounts and between accounting data and operational records;
- Inform clients about any discrepancies, document deficiencies, or additional document requirements;
- Prepare and submit tax declarations in accordance with each client’s fiscal profile within legal deadlines;
- Compile internal reports and situations for the Manager as requested, adhering to established deadlines.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in financial accounting;
- Skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, thorough knowledge of financial-accounting principles and current legislation;
- Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software such as SAGA and WinMentor, or other relevant accounting programs;
- Language: Very good conversational level of English - to manage an international client portofolio;
- Attributes: Strong communication, analytical, and data processing skills. High attention to detail, responsibility, and customer orientation.
