Hiring for a GCP Architect for a global Systems Integration / IT Services major.

Their comprehensive Digital Transformation platform, drives and accelerates the Mobile, Analytics & AI / ML, IoT / Industry 4.0, Cloud and Social journeys of their customers. A tenured Technology major, our client has grown at phenomenal speed over the past few years. On that note they are looking to expand their architect team.
Role details:
- Title / Designation: GCP Architect
- Reporting Manager: Principal Director - Architecture
- Location: Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata (Pan India)
- Work Mode: Hybrid
Role & responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and lead the development of enterprise-level cloud applications using Google Cloud Platform services
- Configure, host, manage, and monitor applications in Google Cloud
- Conduct Google Cloud assessments, modernization initiatives, and migrations for enterprise-level applications
- Establish, document, and implement best practices for end-to-end application initiation and deployment processes
- Manage multiple GCP projects across all phases
- Lead and work with diverse, geographically distributed teams
- Establish technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years as a GCP architect
- Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
- Expertise in GCP services including Compute, Storage, Database, Networking, and Security
- Experience in architecture, design, and development of GCP applications using Java/.NET/Python/Node.js
- Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Cloud Endpoints, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run/Cloud Composer, Dataflow.
- Strong background in DevOps, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP Data services
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and management skills
- Preferred to have hands-on automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, Packer, or GitHub
- Preferred to have knowledge of design patterns for GCP third-party tools setup and native tools usage
- Good to have multi-cloud experience
