Our Client company is one of the largest distributor and manufacturer of construction and renovation products in CEE.
The scope of the role is to replace a long standing previous GM, to coordinate local operations in Romania and to bring notable growth of the current commercial strategies and volumes.
The Romanian team is around 50 Employess and aim to grow faster. They need a dynamic, proactive and a highly commercial individual.
Key requirements for the role:
- Strong orientation on business growth and business development. We would prefer a strong iKAM background .
- Showing day to day good leadership skills in all business areas (on strategy, business planning as well as day-to-day operations)
- Monitoring operational procedures for efficient workflow
- Setting budgets and targets and monitoring company's performance (coordinating local budgeting process in line with group business indicators)
- Planning and executing company’s direction and growth (taking proactive role in setting up mid and long term company’s goals in line with group strategy defined)
- Responsible for sales targets, KPIs (financial as well as non financial), P&L, BS (balance sheet)
- Looking for new business possibilities
- Managing staff performance (building up and maintenance of local professional highly effective, dedicated team)
- Reporting to company’s HQ (timely submission of complete and reliable managerial information to HQ)
Candidate Profile:
- Has minimum 5 years of experience on managerial level position (Commercial Manager/Sales Director/General Manager)
- Strong proven experience and background in technical/building materials/decorative or construction industry
- Commercially minded self-motivated leader able to look at the business interdisciplinary
- Representing hands on approach in handling daily operations;
- Analytical mind with based on facts and figures approach in exchange of information;
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build long term relations
- Strong team player;
- Has bachelor degree, preferably in technical studies, while extra strong financial efficiency orientation will be a plus
- PC literate
