Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Grid and Solar Engineer with expertise in high-voltage systems (minimum 110kV) and renewable energy projects. The role involves project design (cable routes, transformers, connection stations, solar modules, etc.), preparing technical documentation for permitting, and performing technical due diligence/analysis. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, relevant accreditations, and a proactive approach to project management.

The role involves project design (cable routes, transformers, connection stations, solar modules, etc.), preparing technical documentation for permitting, and performing technical due diligence/analysis. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, relevant accreditations, and a proactive approach to project management.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Technical Documentation
- Develop technical documentation for construction permits (DTAC).
- Prepare technical documentation for the Technical Project (PT).
Technical Due Diligence and Project Analysis
- Conduct technical due diligence for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and technical standards.
- Assess the technical and financial feasibility of renewable energy projects.
Project Management
- Coordinate activities related to implementing renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, construction) to ensure project completion within budget and timelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with high-voltage systems (110kV and above) and renewable energy projects.
- Accreditation: Relevant high-voltage professional accreditations are required.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of grid connection requirements and high-voltage system design.
- Experience preparing technical documentation for DTAC and PT.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software and tools for electrical engineering, PV design, and project management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven expertise in technical due diligence and renewable energy project analysis.
