Job Summary:
The Head of Technology & Services will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s technology infrastructure and operational services, ensuring seamless IT and banking operations. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in banking technology, operations, and digital transformation to drive innovation, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership & Digital Transformation
- Develop and implement the bank’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the digital transformation agenda to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of banking systems, including core banking applications, payment platforms, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring optimal service delivery.
- Oversee IT governance, data protection, and regulatory compliance related to technology.
Banking Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee banking operations, including account processing, payments, settlements, and trade finance.
- Drive operational efficiency by implementing process automation and workflow optimization.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements for banking operations.
- Lead risk management initiatives related to IT and operational services.
- Monitor service levels and enhance customer experience through efficient service delivery.
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing technology and operations team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
- Provide guidance and training on new banking technologies and processes.
- Ensure effective change management and business continuity planning.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in banking technology and operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of core banking systems, digital banking, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, fintech integration, and data analytics.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing banking operations and IT security.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to drive innovation and digital transformation.
- Language: Fluency in French and English is preferred.
