Our client is a well reputed international vehicle distributor The culture of the local office offers the benefits and security of working a corporate job, with the intimacy of a family-owned business that invests in their team members. The Biatorrbágy unit is a sub-region centre for neighbouring markets.
The job holder will be a key player in partnering with HQ in HR programs and policies while administering day-to-day execution of tasks associated with payroll and compliance, but operational duties would not dominate his/her working hours. The HR Generalist will have a pivotal role in talent acquisition and competence development projects actively supporting onboarding, he/she would report to GM directly being a single person HR in the organisation.
Main tasks:
- HR Operations & Administration: Support existing HR programs and processes including payroll, benefits administration, employee data management, policy communication and compliance. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in 4 countries.
- Culture Champion: Embody and uphold the company’s core values in a competitive environment. Foster an environment of collaboration, engagement, productivity, and technical excellence.
- Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and Talent Development: Partner closely with leadership to develop and implement effective hiring, onboarding and employee development programs. Ensure all new employees are effectively onboarded and trained.
- Employee Management: Lead day-to-day HR processes and execute HR programs with a focus on operational excellence and regulatory compliance, support managers and supervisors in effective people practices including onboarding, management, offboarding and other key components of the employee experience.
- Employee Relations: Proactively address employee concerns, investigate issues, and provide guidance and coaching to both employees and managers on various HR-related matters.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in human resources or equivalent practical experience;
- Relevant Human Resource experience;
- Experience HR administration;
- Strong working knowledge and generalist experience in all human resources operational areas including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training & development;
- Proven ability to work effectively with a wide-range of stakeholders, and to develop pragmatic solutions to people-related topics;
- A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills with attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships;
- Excellent use of English language (both oral and written), native Hungarian, French is a strong plus;
- Willingness to take initiatives and perform daily job with autonomy;
- Excellent working knowledge of Office (Excel/PowerPoint)
