Your Responsibilities
As an IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring advanced IT security measures in a security-focused company.
Your key tasks include:
Identifying potential attack scenarios independently
Evaluating and optimizing the technical efficiency of implemented security solutions, particularly in cloud-based environments
Actively contributing to the continuous development and implementation of company-wide security standards, policies, and procedures
Selecting and implementing IT security products
Supporting certifications and audits
Providing second- and third-level support in security-related matters
Documenting processes and maintaining ticket management systems
Your Profile
A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with an IT focus
Several years of professional experience and solid expertise in IT security system design, administration, and management
Experience with IT security standards (BSI 200-1 to 200-4), the ISO/IEC 27000 series, and current cybersecurity requirements
Ideally, knowledge of ITIL structures and certifications such as CISSP, TISSP, CISA, or CISM
Independent and responsible work ethic, as well as an analytical, quality- and goal-oriented mindset
Team player with strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
