Java Microservices Developer

Experience: 8 to 10 years

Location: Hyderabad / Chennai

Job Description:

Must Have- Java, Redis, Spring boot, Spring framework, Spring Reactive, Microservices, REST API, SQL skill sets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Leading the technical design and architecture discussions, making informed decisions to ensure the best solutions are implemented.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to junior developers to help maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and other issues related to the application's efficiency, stability, and security.
• Troubleshooting and debugging production issues and providing timely resolutions.
• Collaborating with the testing team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and ensure the quality of the software.
• Troubleshooting and resolving the reported issues and replying to queries in a timely manner
• Excellent soft skills like communication, problem-solving and customer service

Critical Skills to Possess:
• 8+ year of experience as Java developer
• Hands on expertise on Core Java in development projects
• Hibernate Framework
• Maven
• Source control (e.g. SVN, Git/Bitbucket etc.) would help.
• Oracle PL/SQL
• Oracle Apex
• UNIX shell scripting experience
• Good to have experience in UI design and development.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
