Junior Accountant

Job Summary: 

The main responsibilities of the Junior Accountant will be processing AP invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of all company expenditures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and verify AP invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
• Monitor and analyze discrepancies and resolve invoice issues with internal departments.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of expense reports, including receipts and supporting documentation.
• Set up new vendors in the accounting system, ensuring all necessary documentation is received and verified.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, answer payment inquiries, and handle any related issues.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions with E-Invoice system.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable aging reports and other relevant financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in any accounting relevant role.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with working with ERP-systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
