Job Description:
A leading law firm is seeking lawyers with 0 – 2 years of post-qualification experience for a position in its Regulatory Disputes team, focusing on energy and infrastructure-related disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to work on complex and high-stakes matters involving regulatory challenges and disputes in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in advising and representing clients in disputes arising in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Handling regulatory matters, including proceedings before regulatory authorities and appellate bodies.
- Drafting pleadings, opinions, and other legal documents related to regulatory litigation.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client advice.
- Collaborating with senior associates and partners to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
- Liaising with clients, counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth handling of matters.
Requirements:
- Qualified to practice law in India.
- 0 – 2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in disputes or regulatory matters.
- Strong research and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Interest or prior experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
