Our client, a prominent international insurer in Johannesburg, seeks a Lead Engineering Underwriter with over 10 years of corporate underwriting and solid Engineering underwriting experience. In this role, you’ll drive the growth and management of their engineering insurance book, overseeing new and renewal business to ensure that risk acceptance, terms, and conditions meet top-tier standards, and manage and guide team members to achieve objectives.

With your expertise, you’ll engage in in-depth risk analysis, manage product development, and work closely with stakeholders to meet performance targets. You’ll be at the forefront of industry-leading projects, collaborating directly with global and local partners, and even travelling for training and product development.
