SalaryJob DescriptionCompany Overview: A prominent global retail company is launching a state-of-the-art 3PL-operated logistics hub near Bucharest, Romania. This facility is designed to optimize the regional logistics network, ensuring efficient and sustainable fulfillment of service-level agreements (SLAs). By leveraging advanced technology and operational excellence, this center will play a pivotal role in the company’s supply chain advancements.Location: Approximately 40 km from Bucharest.Role Overview: The Logistics Operations Systems Specialist (LOSS) will ensure seamless operations at the logistics hub, collaborating with external partners and internal teams to optimize warehouse management systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring optimal performance (SAP preferred).
- Collaborate with external operators to maintain high-quality data flow and efficient logistics operations.
- Propose and implement improvements in warehouse processes.
- Test and roll out system and process changes, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Coordinate with IT and operational teams in other regional hubs.
- Maintain communication with transportation departments to align overall logistics strategies.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and sustainability practices.
Candidate Requirements (Must-Have Skills):
- Open-minded and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work within structured procedural frameworks while fostering teamwork.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (SAP preferred) and MS Excel.
- Good command of English for reporting and communication.
Preferred Experience:
- 1–2 years in a similar role within logistics or distribution center operations.
- Experience with technology systems, particularly SAP, in a logistics context.
- Hands-on approach to system updates and incident resolution.
