Maintenance In-Charge is responsible to implement best practices, standards and procedures in all maintenance functionalities. Main function is to see that all machines are available for production round the clock.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage, supervise and execute maintenance activities 24/7;
- Conduct everyday repairs, and emergency maintenance on priority;
- Adhere to Preventive Maintenance Programs schedules;
- Ensure to maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment;
- Attend to maintenance service requests promptly;
- Inspect regularly machinery with respect to safety issues, ground and trip hazards, non-functioning lights, broken pieces along with exposed wiring;
- Conduct safety inspections as scheduled and complete accurately as required;
- Ensure maintenance & production wears and utilizes all safety equipment correctly as needed;
- Identify and repair mechanical and electrical equipment and systems;
- Conduct proper follow-through on all maintenance issues;
- Maintain records/reports as per ISO requirements;
- Work non-traditional hours on weekends and holidays during exigencies;
- Any other task assigned by management;
- Prepare & conduct daily/ weekly / monthly preventive maintenance work according to schedule;
- Ensure compliance to safety, security & quality standards, procedures and policies;
- Install & commission capital equipments and replacement equipments;
- Perform activities to improve existing facilities and equipments;
- Improvise maintenance operations to save on costs and work time;
- Review and evaluate maintenance operations;
- Prepare maintenance budget;
- Initiate spare parts planning and second sourcing;
- Define maintenance program to enhance key plant equipment’s throughput;
- Any other task assigned by Management

- Prepare & conduct daily/ weekly / monthly preventive maintenance work according to schedule;
- Ensure compliance to company safety, security & quality standards, procedures and policies;

- Improvise maintenance operations to save on costs and work time;
- Reduce Machine Ideal hours;
- Review and evaluate maintenance operations;
- Prepare maintenance budget;

- Plan/focus on reduction of cost;
- Reduce Power/Energy cost;
