We are looking for the Manager-F&A position for one of our Delhi-based clients.

Education: CA with 8-12 years of exp in logistics only

Budget: 20-22 LPA (including variable)

JOB PURPOSE

The position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial and accounting operations for the Warehousing business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

2) Prepare financial statements, including the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and Balance Sheet, in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).

3) Manage the tax function, including calculating, filing, and paying taxes (direct and indirect).

4) Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collection of payments and payment of invoices.

5) Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.

6) Develop and maintain a robust financial Management Information System (MIS) to provide insights into the financial health of the Warehousing business.

7) Liaise with external auditors during the audit process, ensuring all documentation and information are readily available.

8) Manage adherence to all statutory compliances and regulatory requirements.

9) Manage cash flow effectively, forecasting needs and ensuring sufficient liquidity.

10) Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

11) Maintain strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

1- Strong understanding of accounting principles (Ind AS) and financial reporting.

2- Proficient in accounting software (Tally, SAP etc.) and financial modeling tools (Excel).

3- Proven experience with tax compliance and filing.

4- Understanding of construction accounting principles and practices (desirable).

5- Knowledge of commercial land real estate and warehouse space rental services (desirable).
