About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Networking to lead the organization’s network infrastructure, security operations, and data center management. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in managing network systems, ensuring data security, and leading teams in a 24x7 operational environment.

This role requires overseeing network infrastructures, ensuring system security, and managing key IT processes such as incident management, change control, and compliance with best practices and organizational policies. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the procurement, life-cycle management, and development of network systems to support the organization's operations and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• 24x7 IT Operations Management: Oversee network and server support, database administration, and helpdesk/computer operations across the organization.
• Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices, policies, and standards, monitoring compliance across network and infrastructure.
• Service Provider Management: Monitor and enforce adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with external vendors and service providers.
• Network Infrastructure Development: Lead the development, support, and maintenance of network infrastructures, ensuring scalability and security.
• Change Management: Ensure documented and approved change management practices are followed for critical system components and applications.
• Intrusion Prevention and Security: Develop and implement intrusion detection and prevention strategies, ensuring networks, servers, and data are secure from external threats.
• Data Backup and Recovery: Oversee regular backups and testing of critical systems, ensuring data integrity.
• System Administration Access: Ensure all system administrative access is documented and approved by senior management and maintained according to best practices.
• Collaboration and Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of system administrators, ensuring high performance and adherence to operational objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Networking Expertise: Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN management, routers, switches, firewalls (Juniper, Brocade), and Wi-Fi systems (Ruckus).
• Enterprise Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience managing blade servers, SAN, and cloud-based environments (hybrid).
• Security Knowledge: Familiarity with firewall topology, VPN, VOIP, and security management (IPS/IDS, AV, Patch Management).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in people management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Vendor Management: Proven experience working with hardware, software, and network vendors.
• Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end networking projects, especially involving Juniper/Brocade and Ruckus technologies.
• Experience with Large-scale Networks: Hands-on experience managing networks comprising 5000+ devices and heterogeneous server environments.
• Automation & Analytics: Knowledge of automation tools and analytics for system performance and security.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, ITIL certifications preferred.
