JD – Outsourcing Manager

Location: Pune (PCMC)

The client is in Precision Machining of Components as per Customer requirements. Customers are from Oil & Gas, Food & Dairy, Hydraulics Industries mainly from Europe and the US (80% exports). The client is also into Aerospace Component Manufacturing with a total Turnover of 260 Cr which is poised to become 500 Cr within a year
    
Roles and Responsibilities

-    To drive the organization as well as departmental KPI/Objectives 
-    Identification of potential supplier and their evaluation for machining & special processes like heat treatment, plating, coating etc.
-    Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes.
-    Negotiation with the supplier for the rate finalization & closely follow up with the supplier for on-time delivery with the required quality
-    Required effective collaboration with CFT to have OTD to customer
-    Working experience in resourcing, Capacity planning analysis & supply chain development programs.
-    To drive cost reduction project 
-    Responsible for inventory (System stock vs. physical stock)
-    To monitor non-moving inventory and liquidate it.
-    Coordinate with the supplier in case of any complaint & resolve this by taking CAPA
-    Familiar with the QMS, IMS, OHMS, API & industry trends and innovations.
-    Excellent communication & computer skills like Word, Excel & Power point etc.
-    ERP knowledge is required.
-    Should have conflict-handling skills & problem-solving abilities.
-    Ability to make good decisions on time.
-    Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in Sourcing/Outsourcing

Position Reports to Sr. Sourcing Manager
