Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for new mobile robot solutions, from concept ideation to commercialization, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and market demands.
• Drive the exploration of emerging technologies and market trends in industrial automation, autonomous mobile robots, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Oversee the execution of the New Product Introduction Program (NPIP), establishing clear milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful product launches
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, manufacturing, and sales, to develop and execute comprehensive product development strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance and direction to the NPD team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends, leveraging insights to inform product roadmap decisions.
• Drive the development of robust business cases for new product initiatives, including market opportunity assessment, competitive analysis, and financial forecasting
• Lead the identification and evaluation of strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance product capabilities and expand market reach.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements throughout the product development process, prioritizing safety and reliability.
• Act as a subject matter expert on mobile robot technology, representing the company at industry conferences, events, and customer engagements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in new product development, with a focus on autonomous mobile robots or related technologies.
• Strong technical background in embedded systems, electronics, and mechatronics, with hands-on experience in product design and development.
• Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and leading complex projects from concept to commercialization.
• Experience with the New Product Introduction Program (NPIP) and familiarity with product lifecycle management processes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities, conduct competitive analysis, and drive product innovation in the industrial automation space.
