SCOPE OF THE ROLE - to assist in launching the new vet business network thoughout Romania, to coach teams and measure their efficiency, etc
NB. This is not a commercial role but purely operational one. Your direct boss will be a foreigner regional development director.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, preferably within an international environment and in the veterinary or a related sector (e.g., pharmaceuticals, laboratories, pet food).
- You should have been already involved in similar regional business expanssion and doing daily operations management plus relevant reporting
- Educational background in veterinary medicine, management, economics, business, or finance.
- Strong stress management and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Innovative mindset with proactive and collaborative work habits.
- People manager - proven.
- Excellent command of English.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support to clinic managers regarding operational aspects such as pricing, working hours, and non-medical decisions.
- Oversee the development and expansion of clinics, including capital expenditures and the introduction of new services.
- Coordinate training activities and manage the training budget.
- Act as a consultant/advisor for PR and marketing activities, which are handled by external agencies.
- Define products and services used in clinics, negotiate with distributors, and set price and margin policies.
- Monitor and enhance client satisfaction through effective policies.
- Support the development of action plans for clinics and continuously provide KPIs to measure their performance.
- Develop and implement standardized policies across the network to maximize value and leverage.

- Drive operational excellence and support business growth.
- Develop initiatives to enhance clinic performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to align on key projects and business goals.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and an outstanding customer experience.
