Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
  • Provide expert emergency care for critically ill and injured children.
  • Rapidly assess and stabilize paediatric patients, initiating appropriate interventions.
  • Manage a wide range of paediatric emergencies, including trauma, respiratory distress, and cardiac arrest.
  • Offer compassionate and empathetic patient care, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance to families.
• Clinical Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in clinical audits and research projects to advance the field of paediatric emergency medicine.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric emergency medicine.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential:
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine with a focus on paediatric emergency medicine
  • Significant clinical experience in paediatric emergency medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are advantageous)
• Desirable:
  • Fellowship training in paediatric emergency medicine
  • Experience in a multicultural healthcare setting
  • A passion for teaching and research
