SalaryJob DescriptionPosition Overview: We are recruiting a Payroll Specialist to support our client’s operations in Bucharest. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing for a large workforce while maintaining compliance with local labor laws and aligning with the client’s regional policies and procedures.The role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, supporting payroll activities across multiple countries within a regional structure.Company Culture: Our client fosters a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and growth. The role involves coordination with an external payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing while addressing queries from local and regional stakeholders.This position also includes collaboration on regional payroll projects, such as creating manuals, delivering training, and implementing new processes.
Key Collaborations:
- Regular interactions with the payroll team and management teams across operational locations.
- Collaboration with office-based colleagues for administrative and compliance-related matters.
- Close coordination with payroll colleagues in other countries to support regional initiatives.
- Participation in weekly virtual team meetings and an annual in-person meeting at the regional headquarters.
- Contribution to shared projects, such as updating payroll processes, creating operational guidelines, and delivering regional training.
Key Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in payroll processing and administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- A values-driven mindset focused on accuracy, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Previous experience in the retail industry or a similar sector.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and multi-country payroll operations.
