Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of Travel-Tech platforms from concept to production, including architecture design, implementation, and deployment.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.
- Architect scalable, high-performance systems that can handle large volumes of traffic and transactions.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their technical skills.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the development process, leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Travel-Tech and software engineering.
Ǫualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a focus on Travel-Tech platform development.
- Proven track record of building and delivering scalable, high-performance Travel-Tech platforms from scratch.
- Strong expertise in coding, design, and architecture, with proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with modern web technologies, frameworks, and libraries (e.g., JEE, Python, Node.js). Technology agnostic engineering leader.
- Deep understanding of database technologies, distributed systems, and cloud computing platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Passionate about technology and driven to deliver impactful solutions that drive business success.
Additional Requirements:- Experience in the Travel-Tech industry is highly preferred.
- Prior experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, with a passion for driving impact and delivering results.
