Position Overview:
The Product Manager will lead the development and enhancement of Darwinbox's HR software solutions tailored for the manufacturing industry. This role involves creating and executing a product strategy that addresses the unique HR challenges of manufacturing organizations, such as compliance, workforce management, and safety. The product manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive product innovation, and ensure that Darwinbox’s solutions meet the specific needs of manufacturing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industry-Specific Product Strategy: Develop and implement a product roadmap that aligns with the HR needs of manufacturing clients.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and customer pain points.
- Requirement gathering: Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, converting them into actionable product features.
- Product Development: Oversee the full product development lifecycle, ensuring that the features address the HR needs of manufacturing.
- Solution customization: customize features to cater to specific manufacturing HR processes, including compliance and workforce management.
- Product Launch and Support: Plan and execute product launches, coordinate with marketing teams, and provide client support and training.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product metrics and KPIs, driving continuous improvement based on data insights.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and gathering feedback.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure effective product positioning and support.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and propose innovative solutions to meet evolving demands.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 5-8 years in product management, particularly in HR tech or SaaS, with a preference for experience in manufacturing HR solutions.
- Skills: Strong product management skills, knowledge of manufacturing HR challenges, and familiarity with agile methodologies and user-centered design.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of software development processes and technical requirements.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
