Job Responsibilities Product Development & NPI:
- Lead end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) and development processes, ensuring timely and successful launches for products in the consumer electronics and consumer durables industry.
- Collaborate with engineering, design and marketing teams to define product specifications and roadmaps. Market Research & Strategy Development:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities and consumer needs.
- Develop data-driven marketing strategies to optimize product positioning and maximize market impact and execute end-to-end product marketing strategies tailored to the B2C/D2C ecosystem.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Maintain relationships with market research agencies to track market dynamics and competition activities relevant to business. Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution:
- Plan and implement product launches, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams including product, sales and operations.
- Define clear value propositions, positioning and messaging for new and existing products. Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Ensure products remain competitive by analysing market feedback and implementing necessary updates. Compliance & Certification:
- Oversee critical certifications, including BIS and BEE, to meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Maintain adherence to all compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle. Beta Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Spearhead beta and pilot programs to validate product performance and quality.
- Identify improvement areas and work closely with teams to enhance user experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a central point for product-related decision-making and problem-solving.
- Partner with product teams to align marketing initiatives with product roadmaps and feature releases.
- Work closely with creative teams to develop engaging content and collateral. Customer Insights & Segmentation:
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand target audiences, personas and buying behaviors.
- Leverage data-driven insights to segment and target audiences effectively. Campaign Management:
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, influencer and offline platforms.
- Optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and customer lifetime value (CLV). Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Track, analyse and report on key marketing KPIs such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, and campaign performance.
- Iterate on strategies based on data-driven insights.
