Role Overview: 

The Production Manager oversees end-to-end manufacturing processes, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality conveyor systems. This role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and technical expertise to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Management:

  • Plan, organize, and control production activities.
  • Develop schedules and ensure adherence to production standards.
  • Monitor performance and optimize processes for efficiency.

• TOC Implementation:

  • Apply Theory of Constraints (TOC) principles to improve throughput.
  • Address bottlenecks using tools like Drum-Buffer-Rope.

• Quality Control:

  • Maintain stringent quality assurance protocols.
  • Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Technical Oversight:

  • Manage fabrication, painting, assembly, and electrical control systems.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards and client specifications.

• Team Leadership & Training:

  • Mentor and develop a cohesive team of permanent and contractual workers.
  • Conduct regular training and implement cross-functional skill development programs.

• Process Improvement:

  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor KPIs to identify and implement enhancements.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Uphold safety standards through audits and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry and regulatory requirements.

• Resource Management:

  • Optimize the use of materials, machinery, and manpower.
  • Collaborate with procurement to maintain supply chain efficiency.
