Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the testing process for Salesforce applications within the manufacturing domain, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
- Effectively communicate with both Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders, including customers, development teams, and onshore/offshore teams.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases, particularly focused on Salesforce applications and related integrations.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed test cases.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data by validating data sources, transformations, and loading processes within the Salesforce environment.
- Lead a team of testers, providing guidance and support, and ensuring the successful delivery of testing projects from offshore.
- Execute and oversee various types of testing, including functional, system integration, end-to-end, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Design, document, and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and test cases; track defects to closure.
- Act as a key point of contact for testing-related activities, providing regular updates and ensuring that testing objectives are met.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 – 8 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on manual testing of Salesforce applications and web applications.
- Fluency in Japanese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Experience in the manufacturing domain, with an understanding of industry-specific processes and requirements.
- Proven experience in working with onshore and offshore project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of testing projects.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), with hands-on experience in Quality Assurance methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
- Experience in designing, executing, and documenting test cases for Salesforce applications, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Familiarity with Salesforce testing tools and environments, such as Salesforce Inspector, Workbench, and other related tools.
- Basic understanding of SQL, with the ability to write simple queries for data validation within Salesforce.
- Experience in identifying and documenting defects using tools like Jira, TFS, or similar bug-tracking systems.
- Leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of managing and mentoring testing teams and taking ownership of testing deliverables from offshore.
