Our client, a global leader in essential minerals production and specialty materials distribution, is looking for a Regional Area Sales and Product Manager to cover Romania & Bulgaria in their engineered materials division. The company is recognized for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service, offering innovative solutions across industries, backed by technical expertise and regulatory support.
Role Overview:
This newly created role will focus on developing and promoting polymer-based products to clients in the designated region. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the customer base and working on polymer compounds, including PEEK, PPS, Polyamide, POM, PBT, and others, for various industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies to increase market share and achieve sales targets across Romania and Bulgaria.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs to deliver tailored polymer solutions.
- Market Analysis & Expansion: Identify opportunities for growth and explore new customer segments and industry verticals. Focus on Romania and Bulgaria, with potential expansion into Czech Republic and Slovakia.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on trends in engineering materials and polymer technologies to effectively sell and promote products.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to meet customer requirements and drive business success.
- Sales Reporting & Budget Management: Prepare sales forecasts, monitor performance, and manage resources and expenses.
- Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales management, ideally in the engineering materials or manufacturing sector.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of polymers and their industrial applications.
- Languages: Advanced proficiency in English.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical abilities for interpreting sales data and making informed decisions.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM tools, sales analytics, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: €3,000 – €4,000 net, with performance-based bonuses (0%–15%–25%).
- Other Benefits: Company car, phone, laptop, travel insurance, life insurance.
- Additional Bonuses: 13th salary, along with Christmas, Easter, and vacation bonuses (each €500).
- Merit Increases: Annual merit increases in April.
Work Environment:
- Field Work: 60% of the role will involve field-based activities in Romania and Bulgaria, with 40% home office flexibility. Regular office presence is not required.
Interview Process:
