Role Overview: The Regional Head Sales will head the Noida office, overseeing sales managers and a team of 7 service engineers. The primary responsibility is the selling of wiring harness manufacturing machines, with a focus on new customer development and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Development:
- Drive new customer development (70% of the role).
- Identify and engage potential clients in the wiring harness manufacturing sector.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to attract new customers.
- Customer Handling:
- Manage relationships with existing customers (30% of the role).
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients such as Napino, BHEL, BEL, ISRO, Tejas (HAL), automotive companies, and wiring harness manufacturers.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales managers and service engineers.
- Ensure the team meets sales targets and delivers excellent customer service.
- Market Analysis:
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities (e.g., JAM from Japan, Metzner from Germany, KM Digitek from Korea).
- Develop strategies to outperform competitors and capture market share.
- Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (BE Electronics or Electrical).
- Experience: 10 to 15 years in the related sector, specifically in the Surface Mounting Technology sector.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
