Job Title: Sales Engineer - Industrial Chemicals
Location: Tanzania
Reports to: Country Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and fast-learning Sales Engineer to join our client's team in Tanzania. The ideal candidate must have minimum 2 years of experience in sales of raw Materials In either of these industries: Coatings/Inks/Building Chemicals/ PVC Pipe manufacturing/ Printing & Packaging Industry. You will be responsible for driving sales, developing strong customer relationships, and providing technical support to clients. Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and target new business opportunities in Coatings/Inks/Building Chemicals/ PVC Pipe manufacturing/ Printing & Packaging Industry sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting and selling the clients product portfolio.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical advice and support to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of the products.
- Collaborate with the technical team to address customer queries and provide tailored solutions.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new product opportunities.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Country Manager.
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform business strategy.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, particularly in Industrial Chemicals
Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- A fast learner with a strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly understand complex chemical products.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Highly motivated and self-driven with a passion for sales and customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Willingness to travel within Tanzania to meet customers and explore new business opportunities.
