Sales Engineer (coatings)
Our client is a well reputed chemical distributor with presence in 14 European markets. They decided to enter the Hungarian market and looking for their ambassador to build their presence and potentially grow with the role.
Main tasks:
- Follow-up existing customer base, execute sales and develop customer data base in the related field;
- Maintain and expand current business following monthly and annual budget targets;
- Build good, long-term partnerships, providing technical advice and support to customers;
- Show full ownership for the product management and sales tasks dedicated to the role;
- Provide technical expertise to support new business development;
- Create and maintain a pipeline of unqualified, qualified and targeted prospects within the area of responsibility;
- Collaborate with HQ experts to provide timely and effective fulfilment of unmet customer and market needs, leading to new sales of existing products and new products;
- Communicate both internally and externally to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering background is necessary (Chemical preferred);
- Min 3 years working experience in business development of chemicals, and market knowledge within this market;
- Good command of the English language, and computer literacy (CRM, MS Office);
- Driving license & open to travel over Hungary;
- Good communication skills;
- Self-starter and results driven with passion for meeting and exceeding expectations;
- Ability to understand and translate opportunities between suppliers and customers.
Location:
Home office (the company would have office in Budapest)
