As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy for the business in Bulgaria. You will be responsible for expanding market share, developing key partnerships, and ensuring sustainable growth in the processed meat sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving sales performance.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and commercial strategies to drive revenue and market growth.
- Identify and build relationships with key customers, distributors, retailers and industry stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with major retail chains, foodservice providers, and B2B partners.
- Manage and execute sales projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and measurable results.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and supply chain to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and financial targets, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
Desired experience, skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years in sales and business development within the processed meat / food production industry or FMCG.
- Expertise in project management, with the ability to handle multiple sales initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to secure and grow key accounts.
- Strategic mindset, with a deep understanding of commercial and operational business drivers.
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Fluent in Bulgarian and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
