Qualifications and Experience:
• BE Mech with MBA in Sales-Marketing
• 7-10 years of experience in Automation sales
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the automation industry.
• Strong track record of successfully managing customer relationships and driving sales growth.
• Familiarity with the automotive, medical, and consumer goods industries is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Job Description:
• As a Sales Manager for the Indian market, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales growth and expand market presence in India.
• You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales strategies, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and acquiring new clients.
• Your focus will be on key account management and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Planning:
• Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
• Identify target markets, segments, and potential clients within the automotive, medical, and consumer goods industries.
• Analyse competitor activities and market dynamics to refine sales approaches.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and support.
New Customer Acquisition:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead-generation activities.
• Utilize market research and networking to identify potential clients and establish initial contact.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to convert leads into customers.
Key Account Management:
• Manage key accounts effectively to maximize sales revenue and customer retention.
• Develop tailored solutions and service packages to meet the unique needs of key clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of solutions.
Sales Target Achievement:
• Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
• Develop action plans and initiatives to drive sales performance and meet or exceed targets.
• Monitor sales metrics, analyse performance data, and take corrective actions as needed.
