Roles & Responsibilities:

• SAP System Administration: Manage and support SAP environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• System Upgrades and Patching: Perform SAP system upgrades, applying enhancement packs, patches, and support packs to keep systems updated.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Design and manage backup strategies and ensure effective disaster recovery processes.
• Database Administration: Oversee SAP database administration, including tuning, backup, and restore operations (knowledge of HANA and other SAP-supported databases preferred).
• System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor SAP landscapes and address issues, including job scheduling and troubleshooting system failures.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain documentation, configuration guides, and ensure compliance with SAP best practices and IT policies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders to support SAP operations and troubleshoot issues.

Ideal Candidate:

• 4 to 5 years of rich experience in Implementation and support projects
• Strong SAP Basis experience working with SAP S/4 HANA and SAP systems, including experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience in E2E life cycle implementation and support experience.
• Proficient in performance monitoring & client copy functionality, Kernel upgrade, performance analysis, and memory/buffer management, Spool administration database backup and recovery.
• Good experience in System refresh from production to the quality system and SAP Router & troubleshooting from application & OS level and SAP S/4 HANA security and authorization.
• Experience in Oracle/HANA/DB2/MSSQL/SYBASE databases.
• Expertise in SAP Web Dispatcher, RFC, Transport Management, Jobs, operation management, dump & log analysis, and Solution management.
